We are a group of like-minded individuals, collectively exasperated with the ongoing lack of activity to properly address the consequences of the world’s climate changing. And we are grateful to everyone who’s helped and contributed in their various ways. You know who you are.

As you can understand from the very nature of A New Future (ANF), we stand to gain no more and no less than anyone else from our efforts to find a way of living in a genuinely sustainable way. We stand to gain nothing financially. If ANF is adopted sufficiently widely, we all gain a viable future.

ANF has been built on a UK domain name only out of convenience for the site’s creators. ANF is written in English because a) all the the site’s creators can speak English and b) English is by many measures the most commonly spoken language world-wide. We hope one of the free online translation services can help overcome any problems caused by our decisions and limitations in this regard.

The ‘Building A New Future’ outline includes all the main factors that informed ANF’s creation and goals. These factors need to be kept clearly in mind if we are to achieve a future world which will enable humanity to survive in a changing climate. Nothing is set in stone and as we learn more, so the ‘Building A New Future’ outline will be developed.

On your part, you remain aware of ANF and ensure you keep the most up to date version available at all times. This is insurance. It might be particularly important after any crisis, when the Internet, when electricity, isn’t available. Therefore, the safest thing is for you to maintain a printed copy, to update it as necessary, and to tell people who you care about where to find it.
